Today I want to do some sampling of lush fragrances. I got a little bag or envelope package of goodies sent by a wonderful person. He also is a fragrance reviewer both on Instagram and on youtube. His name is Servus fragrance Andreas. He sent me some goodies and I have separated some of them in here. These are all lush perfumes. Top 3 Lush Fragrance
I’m excited to try these out you guys because we all know well most of us probably already know that lush don’t give out samples. And so it’s really difficult to test out their fragrances properly. And lush has always just been a fragrance house or company that I’ve been so interested in testing.
But you know it’s difficult too. So I’m so excited I have one lush fragrance and it’s called tank battle.
It is literally art. It’s an art piece in a bottle. I do want to discover this house more from what I have tried when I’ve visited the store. Their fragrances are just very unique and different and very quirky avant-garde challenges.
And I really like that. Because sometimes with fragrances. Especially newer ones you get kind of bored and sometimes things smell like. And you’re like the kind of like disappointed. So I’m really looking forward to just.
I guess giving you guys my first impressions on some of these I’ll probably spread these out. Let’s just begin the first one we’ll be sniffing today is called YOG NOG.

So I was talking to him and he told me that I would probably love this fragrance. And just by the name YOG NOG. I’m thinking eggnog Christmas milky yummy drink dessert thing. Let’s give this a try I’m very excited to try this.
So yeah so I’m using half of a scent strip because I’m running low on my scent strips right. I have another order coming in so until then I’m going to be like cutting them in half. So YOG NOG was totally right that this is totally something that I would like a milky gourmand.
It smells like really like a literal dessert. So the sweetness in here reminds me of like toffee. There’s it’s a little bit spicy too. Oh my gosh, it’s reminding me of a candy bar. You know the inside part of the crunchy chocolate bar.
The toffee part to the inside part is what this smells like. Oh my gosh, I think this is discontinued. I don’t know or maybe it’s like limited edition you know how lush sometimes. You know it’s a big mess actually the way they you know make things available and then take them off. The market and then it comes back sometimes.
But yeah this one really honestly smells like the inside of a crunchy bar. But there’s also a milkiness in here too. That’s quite thick and rich. Oh my gosh yeah I love this. Oh my gosh, I love it. Yum just yum.
YOG NOG has two notes ylang-ylang and clove. Okay but the right up here is completely different. Transport yourself to mountains made of caramel with this deliciously sweet perfume. Evocative of skiing holidays in the Canadian peaks. Warm and spicy clove oil and soft ylang-ylang.
Create a perfume with a creamy chocolate center to entice all who surround you. So Canadian pigs kind of yeah it’s giving me that kind of idea of wintertime and going inside your home after being outside.
And like making like a hot chocolate. A steaming cup of hot chocolate made with real chocolate. And then besides that having like a crunchy bar. It’s so good. I don’t know you guys. I’m almost speechless about this one YOG NOG. Starting off on the right foot.
Okay, let’s try another one now. I feel like everything’s going to have to measure up to the YOG NOG and that’s probably not going to happen. But let’s see here the next one is called LORD OF MISRULE.

So I have heard about this one. I haven’t tried it before. I’m very curious about it. It’s strong. Wonderful you guys. Absolutely wonderful this is a sweet patchouli scent almost like vanilla patchouli. But the patchouli isn’t like that.
Heady 70s flower power type of patchouli. To me, it’s not any way it’s not like dirty patchouli. It’s very soft and smooth. Almost like a big cozy warm sweater or a hug. And it’s softened even more with something sweet.
And I’m gonna guess vanilla I’m not really sure what’s in here. Oh, it’s the reminiscence patchouli. It where it does have this very wearable inoffensive. Soft cozy, warm patchouli that just makes patchouli. So much more wearable.
If you guys have ever smelled actual like patchouli essential oil. It’s very strong and it can be offensive of how strong it is. But in here they just made it very soft and cuddly. And it’s reminding me of like a spicy fireplace. And you’re drinking some like vanilla tea or something like that. So this is beautiful.
Yeah, he also when he sent these he told me he would send me things he thought that I might like. And so far we’re two for two. This would be perfect for like the fall season, winter season. So there’s three notes patchouli vanilla and black pepper.
This tribute to a mischievous winter revelry is sweet and spicy. But rich in pagan undertones. Indulgent vanilla meets fiery black pepper to transport you to the midst of a forest party. Where foolishness rules and polite society unravels for one dark night. A deep patchouli perfume that evokes the naughty festivities of ancient winters.
What a beautiful write-up. Explains it very well very dark and mysterious and deep. The sweetness in here is what makes this perfume I think. Because patchouli on its own is difficult.
At least for me but when you add rich deep vanilla to it. It’s just like a perfect match. So 242 lord of misrule rule gets a thumbs up. YOG NOG gets the thumbs up as well. Just my first impressions obviously. But impressed definitely impressed so far with these two.
Let’s do one more you guys and the next one is going to be a goddess.

So I think this was released not too long ago. This is like a soury kind of wood I think. This smells like a very niche. If that makes sense. Yeah, sour woody wood. I’m not really getting anything more other than that.
Maybe slightly animalic. Yeah but not barnyard. If that makes sense. It’s quite sour. I wonder how it would be on my skin. But it’s strong. It’s a strong sourish kind of wood. No doubt I don’t know about this one. I don’t hate it.
I don’t hate it but I’m gonna be honest that. I love the woods that I do own but I’m not really like loving woods. At the same time as every time, I try a new wood. I’m like I guess I’m getting a little bit bored of wood.
Although I still love it. The wood that I have sometimes you just need a break from certain groups of fragrance. And I don’t know with wood I’m just not feeling it so much. But that said this is a strong intense wood scent.
So the notes are making my nose itchy. Notes are wood sandalwood. Osmanthus jasmine powder. Floral notes and rose. Yeah, it’s making my nose itch. This one is okay not in love with this one.
But I think it’s because I’m falling out of love with wood. I like my woods to be like super duper sweet. Well, there’s always exceptions of course. But yeah this if you’re looking for an intense pungent.
A sour kind of food maybe you can try this. I don’t know what do you guys think. If you guys have tried this actually what do you think of these three. Let me know in the comments.
