Today I will be talking about this Calvin Klein Escape one in particular though. It’s been requested by one of you guys in the comments thank you so much for suggesting it. Okay, so when I think of the 90s. Calvin Klein Escape Review (Nov 2020)
I pretty much think of Calvin Klein when it comes to perfumes. I think of Calvin Klein I think of escape ck1 and obsession. And there’s another one eternity. Those ones to me were you know I kept on hearing about it.
I saw ads about them all the time. I actually had an ad for this escape in my binder. When I was in like junior high or something like that. So yeah this is the women’s version.
There’s also a men’s version here. That’s what the bottle looks like. I haven’t smelled this one in a very long time. Oh, this is a body lotion and bath and shower gel. So yeah I really like how they added those extra goodies.
Anyways let’s get this on a test strip I have no idea if it’s been reformulated or not. I assume it has been like most things. Okay, so I got it on a test trip here. And uh I’ll just give you guys my quick thoughts. I have smelled this before but like I said it’s been a very very long time.
It did put a big strain on the orange stain on the test strip. Okay oh wow this is very nice. It smells exactly how I remembered it to smell like. So I’m getting a very strong fruitiness in here. I have no idea what the notes are in here. But when I smell this I’m thinking of a mix of different fruits.
For me, I’m smelling mostly like a peach or a nectarine kind of scent. Maybe some orange in here as well. But along with this intense fruitiness.
There’s also a very strong floral note in here. With I’m thinking just another big bunch bouquet of flowers. Some white flowers in here and yeah it does give off this very 90s kind of feel. And I’m not really sure how to explain that.
But yeah I smell this and I’m smelling the 90s. It’s very strong but I’m picturing a woman wearing this going to the office smelling like this every day. I’m getting a lot of fruity florals and a little bit of a slight powderiness too.
It’s quite sweet I would say and I’m getting some greenness in here too. And I really really like this and I know that it’s very inexpensive to find now. It probably has been reformulated but it’s a gorgeous scent.
Like I’ve seen it on sale for like 20 euros for like 100 mils and for that price. You can’t really go wrong hmm I really really like this one, you guys. So I’ll just pull up the notes here quickly and read them out to you okay.
So hmm this one was released in 1991 actually okay. So it’s a romantic feminine fragrance with a hint of marine scent. Escape opens with chamomile apple lychee mandarin rose plum and peach.
Balanced by coriander and salad sandalwood. And yeah there’s a whole bunch of other notes in here. So top notes are melon chamomile marigold teschettes apricots hyacinth oakmoss coriander apple mandarin orange blackcurrant cassia lychee and ylang ylang. That’s just at the top.
Middle notes are peach lily of the valley rose carnation jasmine and cloves. And base notes are oakmoss musk amber sandalwood vetiver cedar and vanilla.
Yeah, I think that’s like one of the longest lists of notes that I’ve ever heard in a long time. So yeah I really like this one it’s a fruity sweet fresh floral green slightly powdery. And yeah I really like this very classy scent for a great price. So those were my quick thoughts on an escape by Calvin Klein for women.
I would love to hear what you guys think of this fragrance please let me know in the comments. Thank you guys so much for tuning in today.
